WHAT TO EXPECT: Adults, nymph, and larvae N. cucumeris are generalist foliar predators that actively seek out their prey, so you will see tiny specks of mobile white/tan-coloured insects on leaves and the walls of your greenhouse.
RECOMMENDED USE: Place 1 sachet/pot if plants are not touching; otherwise, use 1 sachet/sq. m. Appropriate supplemental food items for N. cucumeris such as pollen can also be provided. Replace each sachet after 3-4 weeks, regardless of whether product is used as treatment or preventative.

BENEFITS: Thripex-Mini is an ideal biological control option for those who maintain their plants in OPTIMAL conditions (enclosed spaces that have high humidity).

Thripex Mini is a biological control product produced by Koppert Biological Solutions that contains the beneficial insect Neoseiulus cucumeris, a pear-shaped predatory mite with a light pink to tan colour. Each sachet holds 100 predatory mites mixed with bran, which is an ideal substrate for breeding. Female N. cucumeris can lay up to 4 eggs a day, with eggs taking 1-4 days to hatch given ideal temperatures.
